Saturday Sewings

It has been kind of a dreary day, here, in the Foothills of NC...so why not brighten it up a little bit?  :)

Today, I made...

(The appliqued front: "They call me...NANA")

(Patchwork back...)

But let me back up...this bright and cheery little pillow is for a sweet lady that my family and I have recently met.  It is a blessing to see her love for her family and grandchildren.  (Sorry, I can't say her name...it's a surprise!)  I hope she likes it!!!

I love this color combination!

~Off Topic~

This past week, I weeded my raised-beds...WEEDS ARE GROWING IN JANUARY/FEBRUARY?!!  Where is the snow???  :)  Anyway, we had some warm days this week and it was a great opportunity to weed and start getting the garden ready.  One thing I miss, in the winter, are fresh tomatoes!  Oh, how I crave tomato sandwiches!  :)

(Our tomatoes from this past summer. Yum!)

Hope you have had a wonderfully blessed week!!!

Let us prepare our hearts for worship...

"I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD."
Psalm 122:1

Jessica,

You are "sew" sweet! :) I would love to teach you to sew...too bad we don't live closer!!! Seriously though, you need to try it sometime! (I took basic sewing lessons and just keep learning on my own.) I love, love, love it!

Hope you and your family are well!
